May Day

What a busy few weeks on the nursery it has been, the growth has started and some of our herbaceous plants have really started to come to life, the trees are all in leaf now and the new growth is vibrant and limey green although my poor Cherry Trees weren’t impressed with Storm Hannah as they went from full bloom to a carpet of petals overnight!

We have had so many new deliveries over the couple of weeks too so much so that we started to run out of room, 60+ acres and you run out of room, how is that possible? Some of the deliveries included some amazing specimens for our new project and we have been dining new ways to display them and have been working on a new project to do this. I love when plans come together and this one really looks like it is, can’t wait to share possibly next week.

Our shiny new website was finally ready too and that I am so delighted with how it looks, that was the last piece of the jigsaw in our re-brand so now I’m buy populating it with all the new stock that came in, I might be here a while. When I look at lots of the stock it is amazing the shapes and styles that we are able to have in trees and specimens that I have had to find ways of showing it to you so that you can appreciate how they look and get a feel for how they might look in your own garden.

So this week is Punchestown week, a great week in the Naas and surrounding area social calendar so best of luck to all taking part and hope all those attending have the best time, you will see some of our lovely shaped trees as part of the Bollinger tent, for those posh enough to venture over to that side, have a glass for us too!

Our Bank Holiday Opening Times are 11am – 4pm on Monday 6th May and we have all our Sales guys in that day to assist and advise you as we are expecting a busy day.
