Description
A contemporary, characterful garden shed with a clean, modern line — vertical tongue & groove timber cladding, a felt tiled roof, scalloped fascias, and Georgian windows that give it a quality far beyond the standard garden shed. Made to order, hand-built to last.
Why Choose the Virginia Shed?
If you want a shed that looks as considered as the garden it sits in, the Virginia is the one. Its contemporary vertical cladding — tongue and groove timber carried in clean, light vertical planks gives it a modern, architectural feel that sets it apart from the horizontal-boarded standard shed, while the felt tiled roof and scalloped fascias add a crafted, finished quality that catches the eye. The Georgian windows complete the look, bringing natural light into the interior and giving the shed the appearance of a proper garden building rather than a simple storage unit.

What Makes This Shed Different?
The details. Most sheds are purely functional; the Virginia is designed to look like it belongs. The vertical cladding gives it a contemporary, streamlined appearance that sits beautifully in a modern garden, while the scalloped fascias and Georgian windows lift it from storage unit to genuine garden building. The felt tiled roof adds a quality finish that weathers well and completes the roofline properly. It’s a shed you’ll be happy to look at, every day, from the house — and that’s rarer than it should be.

Caragh Garden Notebook
Very few sheds make people stop and look, the Virginia is one of them. The vertical cladding is the defining feature: carried in clean, light timber planks, it gives the shed a contemporary, architectural quality that horizontal boarding never quite achieves, and it makes the building feel taller, cleaner, and more considered in the garden. The Georgian windows are not just for looks — they flood the interior with natural light, which makes the shed genuinely pleasant to spend time in, whether it’s potting, tinkering, or simply working in the garden. As with any timber structure, the preparation is everything: set it on a flat, level, well-drained base, treat it as recommended when it arrives, and give the felt roof a quick seasonal check to keep it in prime condition. Light from the Georgian windows, the crafted scalloped fascias, and the neat roofline together give the Virginia a presence that elevates the whole garden — a building you’ll be glad to walk past every day, and proud to show anyone who asks.
