Description

This slow-growing Japanese Yew has been allowed to mature in its natural form, and so has taken on a unique, multi-stem shape. The main branches usually grow in a spreading but upright habit, while also producing short lateral stems that grow outwards. It has dark green tapered needles with a lighter green underside, and beautiful reddish brown bark that flakes as it matures.

This specimen piece, shown in the above image, is currently 200-250cm in height, and will suit any part of the garden – be it full sun, fully shaded, in a corner space or even an open lawn area. It is a perfectly hardy option that tolerates most weather conditions.
