Description :

A very popular ornamental tree often seen beside rivers, this weeping willow tree has golden yellow, new branches that weep to the ground whilst the narrow, yellowish green foliage forms a curtain of gold and green at eye level. Yellow catkins in April give this elegant tree additional seasonal interest although in our opinion the golden young bark and majestic shape looks breathtaking when completely bare during the winter months. Likes plenty of water so not for a dry garden, you will often see these lovelies planted near rivers or ponds.
