Description
Commonly known as Cowslip, this native perennial is very recognisable from our wild hedgerows, woodland edges and wildflower areas. It grows well in most soil types, preferring full sun to dappled shade. It grows in compact mounds, and produces pale yellow flowers in April and May which sit above its low green foliage. A beautiful spring addition to the garden, perfect for mixed borders, cottage garden, native wildflower patches, and roadside verges. Height and spread approx 30cm.
