Description
This variety of Red Robin still produces bright red flushes of young foliage, but its leaves are smaller than the normal Red Robin. As the younger leaves mature, the bright red colour darkens to burgundy, before eventually going to green. Small white flowers occasionally appear in April/May, which later form into bright red berries if they are not pruned away over the summer. Suitable for full sun or partial shade.
These have been grown as half standards, which have a clear stem of approximately 1m topped with a round head of foliage for year round interest.
