Description

A large garden deserves proper shade. The Marseille Free Pole is a generous, well-built cantilever parasol that covers serious outdoor space without a centre pole getting in the way. At 3 x 4 metres, it’s the kind of parasol that works for a full dining set, a lounge area, or anywhere you need reliable, unobstructed shade through the summer months. The aluminium frame carries a wood look finish that sits naturally in a garden setting, and the beige Spuncrilic canopy is built for outdoor life — fade-resistant, weather-ready, and easy to maintain.

A Few Practical Notes

The base is not included with this parasol — the right base will depend on your surface and setup, so get in touch if you need advice on what works best. The tilt function allows you to follow the sun through the day without repositioning the whole parasol, and the protective cover keeps the canopy in good condition through the off-season.

Caragh Garden Notebook: Looking After Your Parasol

Storage: When not in use, put the protective cover on. It makes a real difference to how the canopy looks season after season.

Canopy care: Spot clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush. Avoid harsh chemicals which can damage the fabric coating. Allow to dry fully before covering.

Frame care: Wipe down the aluminium frame occasionally with a damp cloth. The wood look finish is durable but benefits from a light clean at the start and end of each season.

Wind: Close and cover the parasol in strong winds. Free pole parasols offer excellent stability in normal conditions, but no parasol should be left open in high winds.

Winter storage: Store the canopy indoors or in a dry shed over winter if possible. The frame can remain outside if needed, but bringing it in extends its lifespan significantly.
