A compact version of the evergreen Magnolia grandiflora. It produces large showy white flowers at a younger age and red or brown fruits in a very good year. It is best grown in moist, organically rich, well-drained loams in full sun to part shade.
It doesn’t like being too wet but on the other hand it would not be advisable to let this specimen dry out either.
This standard tree has a 220cm clear stem with a 80cm head
