Description

Privet makes a crisp, pollution-tolerant hedge for an urban or suburban site. The small, oval, bright green leaves provide dense cover. Thriving in sun or shade, the lustrous, dark green foliage provides a clean backdrop for ornamental and feature plants. If grown as a hedge and kept regularly pruned, it is unlikely to flower. Semi-evergreen, meaning it might loose leaves during very harsh winter or spring cold spells, but will leaf up again later in spring.
