Description

Hydrangea aspera Rosemary Foster is a superb cultivar that’s very hardy, selected for its compact growth and uniform flowering, even on very young plants. The stunning flowers are produced in large upturned corymbs of rich mauve blue with white ray florets, from June to September and will be the same colours in any soil. The large leaves have great architectural presence, emerging chocolate brown, later deep grey green with felted stems, and turn to amber and golden hues in autumn. This is a wonderful accent plant in borders or in large containers.
