Hydrangea arb. Magical® Dark Pink ‘Bokodapi’

Description

This Hydrangea is a hardy, deciduous shrub that bears large inflorescences of flowers similar to that of the ever popular Hydrangea ‘Annabelle’, however these are bright pink in colour. Flowering begins in June and continues throughout the summer and autumn. In winter/spring when the plant is dormant, it can be cut back to about a 3rd. This will keep a tidier shape while encouraging lush growth for the following summer, and will result in impressively large flower heads. The dark green foliage has a lighter, more silver underside, and so creates a beautiful contrast with the pink flower heads above. Grows to a max height max spread of 1.2-1.5m.
