Festuca glauca Elijah Blue

Description

Festuca glauca ‘Elijah Blue’ is a compact ornamental grass bearing needle-like, silvery blue-green leaves. In summer short spikes of blue-green flowers appear, gradually fading to yellow-brown. With a compact, rounded habit it’s perfect for growing in a gravel garden, at the front of a sunny border or even in a large pot.

For best results and to develop the most intense foliage colour, grow Festuca glauca ‘Elijah Blue’ in well-drained soil in full sun. Remove dead foliage in winter.
