Escallonia ‘Pink Elle’ has a lovely chunky habit and works as a standalone plant, in the border or in a lovely patio pot. Of course, plants also knit together well to create a dense hedge. A superb and compact shrub that is sure to add a splash of colour; they are also great for attracting pollinators, such as bees and butterflies. The flowers will begin to flourish in June and bloom throughout summer until September, reaching an eventual height and spread of 90-100cm. Plants are windproof, tough and resilient, untroubled by pests and diseases. Escallonia ‘Pink Elle’ can grow in sun or light shade and on most soils. Pruning is a simple light trim after flowering each year.
