Evergreens earn their place in the garden all year round — but when they’re underfed or stressed, you’ll often see it first as browning, dull colour, or leaf drop. Empathy After Plant Evergreen Food is a specially formulated organic fertiliser designed to feed both plant and soil, helping evergreens stay lush, resilient and beautifully green.
It contains alfalfa and nitrogen-fixing bacteria to provide a steady source of plant-available nitrogen, supporting healthy foliage and guarding against discolouration. Seaweed meal is included to encourage strong, active growth, while Rootgrow® mycorrhizal fungi help extend the effective root system — improving the plant’s ability to take up water and nutrients, particularly in challenging soils. Added beneficial microbes help enrich soil biology for a long-term improvement in growing conditions.
Ideal for all evergreens, including containerised topiary, rhododendrons, azaleas, conifers, bay trees and buxus.

How to Use
- Spring: Gently work a few handfuls into the soil at the first signs of growth.
- Later in the season: Re-apply if needed to help combat leaf drop or discolouration.
- Planting note: If planting, use pure Rootgrow® in direct contact with roots, then use After Plant Evergreen Food as the follow-on feed.
