When planting more than one Cordyline Burgundy Spire, be sure to allow two metres (6ft) between plants. Choose a site preferably in full sun to allow the foliage to develop its colour fully, though this cordyline will grow in part shade. It’s also adaptable to a wide range of soils from extremes of dry to wet, preferring acid soils.
