Lustrous evergreen foliage cover this upright shrub; masses of striking red double flowers bloom in late winter.   Mrs. Charles Cobb Camellia features showy red round flowers with gold eyes at the ends of the branches from late winter to early spring. It has dark green evergreen foliage. The glossy pointy leaves remain dark green throughout the winter.

This is a relatively low maintenance shrub, and should only be pruned after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season’s flowers. It has no significant negative characteristics.
