Bamboo Phyllostachys viridiglaucescens

Description

Phyllostachys viridiglaucescens is an evergreen bamboo, that grows pretty fast, clumping well. Its leaves are bright green on the upper surface.  Its canes are up to 5cm in diameter, initially bright green, maturing to yellow.

Phyllostachys viridiglaucescens, commonly known as the Green Glaucous Bamboo is native to east Asia. In its native habitat it grows in woodlands and mountain slopes and like all bamboo needs plenty of water
