Description
Acer palmatum ‘Bi Ho’ provides colour and interest all year round. The bright yellow bark is its stand out feature and this really comes into its own in the Winter time when the garden is grey and all the leaves have fallen. In spring, yellow-green leaves emerge with a pink flush. In autumn, they turn a stunning golden yellow-orange.
A compact Japanese Maple, Acer palmatum ‘Bi Ho’ grows as a guide to 2 x 2 metres at maturity. It is ideal as a feature, in a border or grown in a large pot. Plant in full sun or partial shade in soil with good drainage.
