Our client booked the Garden design Consultation with full design package for their garden, as always we booked a time that suited them for their consultation in their garden with our lead designer, Ian. With a blank canvas but a garden that had a steep incline up from the house. The client was very clear about what they were looking for though which is always great.
After meeting with Ian and getting his advice on their garden and giving him their wishlist of things they wanted for their garden which included family space for activities as well as several areas for entertaining and enjoying spending time in their new space – we can do that!
At Caragh Nurseries, we believe in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional havens. This latest garden design project is a testament to this philosophy. Join us as we take you through the journey of turning a blank canvas into a stunning garden paradise.
Firstly we had to come up with a design that incorporated levels into that sloped garden, adding that much needed softness so that when you look out of the house you get layers of colour, texture and form but not forgetting those key family recreational spaces. Our team faced several challenges, especially when it came to drainage and making sure that the garden, although on a resonably small footprint game them everything they need and the privacy to create that haven they were looking for. With creativity and expertise, we crafted a design that incorporates striking elements like Corten steel, lush but repetitive planting, and mature trees to bring the garden to life. The planting style in this repetitive manner is created to make the garden feel more spacious, layers of similar colours and styles, not necessarily the same but having a similar general theme.
So after a little to-ing and fro-ing our designer and architect came up with this beautiful plan of the garden with an area for the entire family, something that enables the steep slope to become part of the garden and create a feature based around that. Our fabulous team of pavers and stonemasons have already finished the hard landscaping of the garden and our planting teams have now gone in and started planting the trees, adding the pots, the retaining copper walls and then onto the smaller planting and all those lovely additions at the end that really finish the garden including the lighting. I can’t wait to show you the finished results…..
