Wisteria Yokohama Fuji Violet is a deciduous climber that has short, fat clusters of lilac-purple flowers approximately 15cm long, that are highly fragrant in May-June. Prefers a south or west facing wall or fence in sun or partialshade and moist, but free-draining soil. Will grow to about 4m x 4m. Pruning in July/August and again in Jan/Feb improves flowering.
These have been trained on espalier frames approximately 90 x 50cm
