Description

This beautiful Wisteria hybrid produces medium sized, compact racemes with fragrant, pea-like flowers that are a combination of light mauve and deep violet with a yellow spot in the throat. A slightly more compact variety of the Wisteria, it comes out in May along with leaves, and are followed by seed-pods  late summer. Pinnate leaves look rather exotic and densely cover the plant and its support from the ground level. They are light green, deciduous and turn yellow in autumn.

Wisterias need a strong trellis or a fence to climb, while tree forms need a good support only until their trunk hardens enough to hold the crown.
