Description

Viburnum plicatum  ‘Mariesii’ provides wide-spreading, tiered branches and prominently veined, dark green leaves that turn purple in autumn. Large lacecap heads of white flowers in late spring are followed by red to black fruit.  The horizontal growth habit make Mariesii a fabulous shrub for all gardens

Alan Titchmarsh says of this plant “If there’s one shrub no garden should be without, it’s Viburnum plicatum ‘Mariesii’” High praise indeed.

Growing up to 2metres tall and with a similar spread this shrub really gives you a lot of bang for your buck!
