Description :

Hoki Tree Peony features bold red flowers with yellow centers at the ends of the branches in late spring. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has green foliage which emerges burgundy in spring.

Tree peonies differ from garden peonies in that they have woody stems like a shrub. The branches do not die back to the ground in winter as do the herbaceous varieties. Exotic, uniquely coloured, and often fragrant blooms are produced in late spring, about two or three weeks before the shrub varieties.  This one comes  in a good sized 7L pot.
