Description
Itoh or intersectional peonies are rare hybrids between typical garden peonies and tree peonies. The ‘Lemon Dream’ variety boasts frilly saucer-sized semi-double blossoms on thick, solid, rich green stems.
The canary yellow petals can be adorned with varying amounts of hazy lavender streaks, supplying a stunning contrast. Unlike tree peonies, herbaceous peonies die back to ground level in winter. They thrive in a well-drained, neutral soil, in full sun. An excellent cut flower for the home
