Libertia formosa




Libertia Formosa, commonly known as the Chilean Iris is a bushy, evergreen perennial which has long, sword shaped, narrow leathery green leaves which sit almost erect at the base of the plant. In the months of May and June the Libertia Formosa blooms tall erect stems with white, bowl shaped flowers in large clusters.

This plant can be planted in a wide range of locations and garden types including flower beds and borders or underplanted of roses and shrubs where it can add extra colour and interest. A good all round perennial plant.
