Description
The Nellie Stevens is a lovely Holly with deep dark leaves and an abundance of berries in the autumn/winter. As with most hollies, Nellie Stevens is evergreen and blooms with small flowers, which are greenish-white in colour, each spring. It produces red berries in autumn. This is an ideal selection for privacy screens, hedging, borders or standalone shrubs. Plant in part shade or full sun. If you do need to do any pruning, best to do this in winter.
This tree is shaped, as we call them, in a Parachute form with multi stems and then a half moon shaped foliage above, its a fabulous shape for a specimen and creates quite an impact, either in a bed or in a pot.
