Description :

Aucuba Japonica Golden King, commonly known as Japanese Laurel is a bushy, dense evergreen shrub which has wonderful large, glossy mid green leaves, heavily blotched in yellow-gold colouring which can make the leaves golden more than green.

In March and April the Aucuba Japonica Golden King bears small dark purple flowers. Being such a versatile, hardy evergreen shrub the Aucuba can be planted anywhere, in beds, borders or as a specimen plant if planted alone, a fantastic hedging/screening when planted in groups and also makes a great container plant.
