Acer dissectum Flavescens’

This variety of Japanese Maple is another weeping form with a stunning cascading habit. In spring it produces delicate yellow-green leaves, which deepen to mid-green throughout the summer. The foliage then turns bright yellow in the autumn, with hints of orange and reds. Like other Japanese Maples, a bright, sheltered area with dappled shade would be the preferred conditions for them to grow at their best potential. Perfect for growing in pots or for planting in the garden.

These specimens currently measure at about 100-125cm in height, and have been trained in such a way so that their main trunk is curved and twisted, similar to an S-shape. This adds more to their winter interest, and creates some additional beauty when they are paired with a complimentary pot.
