Description

Abelia Grandiflora is a smaller to medium-sized, rounded, semi-evergreen shrub with gracefully arching branches, densely clothed with small glossy oval, dark green leaves and clusters of pink-tinged, white, bell-shaped fragrant flowers from mid summer to autumn.

Best grown in full sun to part shade in a sheltered position, free from cold winter winds which may scorch the foliage. Excellent for use in a mixed border where it’s late flowering can be enjoyed, this hybrid of A. chinensis x A. uniflora originally occurred as a natural cross in a garden RHS Award of Garden Merit
